Halo infinite joint fire event has so much to offer
Halo Infinite’s third season is coming soon. Joint Fire will debut tomorrow, and developer 343 Industries has already released a new clip displaying the retro and contemporary cosmetics that will be provided as rewards. The two-week-long Joint Fire event contains a 10-tier event pass that most noticeably offers a glossy new version of Halo Reach’s JFO armour set. It also brings back the limited-time Covert One Flag mode that was introduced when the winter update dropped and less than two months remain until the winter update.
Around a month before the campaign’s release on PC and Xbox, Halo Infinite’s multiplayer first saw a widespread release in November 2021 in connection with the series’ 20th anniversary. Despite the positive early reactions of both critics and gamers to Halo Infinite, a lot of players left the game rather quickly due to the multiplayer’s lack of initial content, balancing concerns, and slow advancement. Halo Infinite updates have nevertheless kept coming, and Season 3 of the game will debut this spring.
Release of the event
The event will effectively fill the content void until the release of season three in early March, although February as a whole still appears to be a barren month for new Halo Infinite updates. Between both the Joint Fire event and the start of the season, nothing was revealed on the roadmap, and that is most likely still the case.
A bunch of fan favourites are included in the original battle pass
Since the season one battle pass, the Spartan core from Mark V has existed in the world of Halo Infinite, however, no Halo Reach’s armour has been incorporated. The bulk of fan favourites was included in the original battle pass, but some of the most significant omissions, like CQC, CQB, and JFO, are now making a triumphant return with the winter update. Each of these latter expansions, in contrast to that first pass, is entirely free to find; however, the infinite’s contributed a little donation for the players.
There’s more than just armour
Along with the armour that serves as the event pass’s main attraction, the free goodies include the “violet crush” armour coating and the two new visor colours “active lime” and “bay sunset.” The minor event will last longer than normal, ending on January 31, giving players plenty of time to earn these gifts.
