Highlights:
* Recent Genshin Impact 5.0 leaks revealed that the Saurian TF will be exclusive to the Natlan region and a particular tribe.
* After the transformation, players can only enter those tribes that belong to the Saurian’s element.
The first trailer for Natlan revealed that a Saurian transformation mechanic will be added in Genshin Impact 5.0. Adventurers would be able to alter themselves into Saurians which in turn would facilitate new opportunities for travel and exploration, albeit with a few limitations. As mentioned in the Genshin Impact 5.0 leaks from Miruko, a reliable source, traveling will be restricted to Natlan and a Saurian’s type.
Saurian Transformation Details As Per Genshin Impact 5.0 Leaks
In Genshin Impact, Natlan is home to both humans and dragons which are named Saurians. They have been coexisting for years. During the time of Tenoch, stated to be a millennium ago, there were six tribes in Natlan. The tribes are based on the Elements such as Geo, Cryo, and Pyro.
Genshin Impact 5.0 leaks by Miruko pointed out that Saurian transformations will be restricted to an element. Following the transformation, players won’t be able to enter those tribes which are different from their Saurian element. For instance, a Dendro Saurian won’t be able to enter the Geo tribe. Thus, entering the latter will require the transformation to a Geo Saurian.
Saurians are expected to possess a higher movement speed compared to the playable characters. However, according to the leaked data, the Saurian transformation in Genshin Impact 5.0 will be limited to the Natlan region. Adventurers won’t be able to use the TF outside of the upcoming Map.
If players in Saurian transformation try to leave Natlan, a notice will appear on the screen.
The Tribe-exclusive entry in Natlan adds a layer to the lore of the region. Despite the harmony between humans and Saurians, Natlan is said to be a war-torn part of Tevyat according to Neuvillette. People want to leave Natlan and settle in a more peaceful and organized region.
Prior to Natlan, adventures can explore the newly-arrived Simulanka Map in Genshin Impact Version 4.8. The optional Map has multiple mini-games and objectives for completion. Starsail Coins earned from the event can be used to purchase figurines for display.
