Highlights:
* Genshin Impact Lan Yan kit leaks show that the potential 4-star Anemo character can create shields and deal AoE damage to enemies.
* The shielder-support role of Lan Yan resembles that of Citlali based on both characters’ leaked kits.
Genshin Impact 5.3 banners are rumored to feature Citlali and Pyro Archon Mauvika. Interestingly, a new 4-star character could also be released in the next update. Lan Yan became a topic of discussion in the Genshin Impact community when the character’s beta splash art got leaked online. Recently, Lan Yan’s gameplay clips were leaked to give players an idea of what to expect from the alleged Anemo character. Her unique skillset allows her to create shields to absorb damage and also inflict heavy area-of-effect (AoE) Anemo damage.
Genshin Impact Lan Yan Kit Leaks: A 4-star Anemo Shielder With Support Abilities
Genshin Impact Lan Yan kit leaks are based on the information provided by Honey Hunter World. According to the website, Lan Yan will be a 4-star Anemo character who uses a Catalyst in battle. She will be the potential next addition to the Genshin Impact Anemo roster following the debut of Chasca in Genshin Impact Version 5.2.
According to the leaked kit, Lan Yan will have nothing fancy in her Normal Attack. She can perform up to four attacks and can throw a blade ring with her Charged Attack. The Anemo character’s Skill is intriguing. With her leaked Elemental Skill, Phoenix-Wisp Pinion Dance, Lan Yan creates a shield whose damage absorption scales based on her Attack, with a 250% absorption efficiency against Anemo damage.
After creating the Phoenix-Wisp Shield, Lan Yan dashes and leaps after making contact with the target. While she is mid-air, pressing the Elemental Skill or Normal Attack buttons will cause Lan Yan to hurl Feathermoon Rings that deal damage upon hit. Holding the Skill will allow players to adjust the direction of Lan Yan’s dash.
Genshin Impact Lan Yan kit leaks also have details about the character’s Elemental Burst. By using her Burst, named Lustrous Moontide in the beta, Lan Yan creates a Feathermoon Swallow Array that pulls nearby targets and objects and deals multiple instances of damage in an area. Her Burst skill grants her crowd-control capabilities and also highlights the 4-star character as a potential sub-DPS.
Lan Yan’s leaked abilities resemble that of Citlali as per the Genshin Impact 5.3 kit leaks. Lan Yan and Citlali likewise have decent support and shielding skills, both wield a Catalyst, but they allegedly possess different elemental powers.
Lan Yan’s Leaked Passive Skills In Genshin Impact
Genshin Impact Lan Yan kit leaks by Hunter Hunter World show three passives. Unfortunately, one is mostly lost in translation, a part of it implying that “creatures such as crystal butterflies” will not be alarmed when she is on the team. Thankfully, the other two passive skills are in detail.
One of Lan Yan’s passives highlights that her shield can undergo Elemental Conversion when her Skill interacts with either of the four elements – Hydro, Pyro, Cryo, or Electro. The converted shield absorbs damage from the corresponding element with 250% efficiency. Moreover, the element of the Feathermoon Rings that Lan Yan throws at the targets is converted. If there is no Elemental Conversion, the initial increased resistance against Anemo damage remains.
Lan Yan’s last leaked passive reveals that her potential scales with Elemental Mastery. Her Skill and Burst deal increased damage based on her Elemental Mastery.
