Yfood, a German smart food brand, has collaborated with HoYoverse to bring Genshin Impact-themed nutritious drinks to the stores. The unprecedented team up with the Chinese game company is touted to be one of the most significant developments in yfood’s history, having previously collaborated with Starfield. There are two flavors in the limited-edition Genshin Impact yfood drinks with each featuring a fan-favorite character from Tevyat on the cover.
Genshin Impact yfood Collaboration Debuts Gaming Edition Smart Food Bottles
The first of its kind and the fifth overall, the Gaming Edition of yfood is available from August 7, 2024. It is available in Germany, the United Kingdom, France, Switzerland, Poland, the Netherlands, and the countries in the European Union. Interested gamers can purchase the limited edition bottles from the online store.
Genshin Impact yfood drinks come in two flavors, namely Banana Peanut and Icy Coconut. Each pack priced at £20.94 (£3.49 per bottle) contains six bottles. Wenyi Jin, President of Global Publishing and Operations of HoYoverse, is all praises for the smart food and hopes that the new flavors inspired by beloved Genshin Impact characters nourish fans as well as “help them get ready for more adventures in Teyvat and their daily life.”
The Banana Peanut flavor in yfood Gaming Edition features Genshin Impact character Amber on the cover. She has a cheerful smile and the energy she brings in the game can also be found in the bottle.
The Icy Coconut flavor bottles feature Qiqi. Given that she is one of the most well-known Cryo characters in Genshin Impact, her appearance on the blue cover looks perfect. The ‘icy’ flavor is also a shout-out to Qiqi’s calm temperament.
The Genshin Impact yfood collaboration is a big step for both parties to promote their respective products. While the European food brand is aiming to release gaming-related items in the market, HoYoverse is preparing to launch the highly-anticipated Genshin Impact 5.0 update. It will open the doors to the Natlan region for players and also debut new, exciting features.
