On Monday, July 31, 2023, leading Indian esports organization, Global Esports, announced the departure of the Valorant player, Abisha “Baila” Joseph, from its Game Changers roster. Joseph, who joined the roster in March 2023 alongside her former teammates, will no longer be a part of Global Esports Phoenix after being found guilty of an “Account Sharing” violation.
The reason for Abisha’s departure was confirmed by the Global Esports CEO and co-founder, Dr. Rushindra Sinha. For the unversed, Sinha quote tweeted the organization’s announcement post claiming that Joseph was found guilty of Account Sharing for the second time since April 2023.
“She understands her mistake…”: Rushindra Sinha on the departure of Abisha “Baila” Joseph from Global Esports Game Changers roster

Minutes after Global Esports tweeted the announcement, Sinha responded with the reason behind Baila’s departure from the roster. Here’s what he wrote on X:
“Abisha was found guilty of Account Sharing, as this being her 2nd offense (after receiving a warning in April 2023. She understands her mistake and will work towards ensuring she does not breach Riot TOS in the future.”
For those unaware, Riot Games usually take the Account Sharing offense quite seriously, as players found guilty of doing so face a temporary suspension followed by a permanent ban if they are found repeating the same mistake.
