Groups C and D concluded their opening M4 Group Stage matches
As you all read in our previous articles, Groups A and B played out their respective matches. Yesterday, Group C and Group D played their opening group stage games, and as the second day concludes, all the groups are done with their opening fixtures. From today, the remaining matches will be played and this will decide which teams will head for the Knockout stage.
As per yesterday’s fixtures, Fans got to witness a total of 6 games. Three each from both groups. ECHO and RSG Singapore with a good performance secured the top 2 places in the Group C standings. From Group D, RRQ Akira managed to pull off a great performance and led the standings while The Valley got placed in the second. For the match recaps, visit here.
Day 2 recap of M4 Group Stage
On 2nd January, fans at Bali United Studio witnessed a total of six games. The day began with Group C fixtures and later moved on to the Group D matches. It was the best of 1 game series from both groups. Let’s first begin with the Group C games.
Group C Games –
- RSG Singapore vs Occupy Thrones
RSG Singapore picked Fredrinn, Martis, Yve, Claude, and Lolita. Occupy Thrones picked Chou, Akai, Xavier, Beatrix, and Kadita. The game went for around 21 minutes and 56 seconds, RSG Singapore got the victory and 505 became the match MVP.
- RRQ Hoshi vs Occupy Thrones
The lineup for RRQ Hoshi included Terizla, Benedetta, Xavier, Karrie, and Kadita. Occupy Thrones picked Gloo, Akai, Cecilion, Lesley, and Franco. The game went on for 22 minutes and 57 seconds, and RRQ Hoshi was the winner. Lemon was the match MVP.
- ECHO vs RRQ Hoshi
The final fixture of the day for Group C was played out. ECHO began with a lineup of Yu Zhong, Fredrinn, Yve, Karrie, and Khufra. After 18 minutes and 36 seconds, ECHO claimed the win and Sanji became the match MVP.
Group D Games –
- The Valley vs S11 Gaming Arg
The game went on for around 14 minutes and 36 seconds, and The Valley got the win. FwydChickn was the match MVP.
- RRQ Akira vs The Valley
After 14 minutes and 52 seconds, RRQ Akira won the game against The Valley. Tekashi became the match MVP.
- Team HAQ vs RRQ Akira
The concluding game from group D resulted in a match of 15 minutes and 11 seconds. RRQ Akira got the win and Seigen was the match MVP.
