HoYoverse’s drip marketing has revealed the 5-star characters for the Honkai Star Rail 2.3 banners even before the 2.2 Version update rolls live. Information about the upcoming characters has made fans buzz with excitement. However, they are hesitant about saving Stellar Jades for the 2.3 banners or spending it on the 2.2 banners. Luckily, they can decide after checking the leaked news on Honkai Star Rail 2.3 banners that include the character’s skillset.

Honkai Star Rail 2.3 Banners Release Date & Characters
HoYoverse has revealed Firefly and Jade as the upcoming characters in Version 2.3. Both belong to the 5-star Rarity category and have good utility in any team. According to the drip marketing by Honkai Star Rail, Jade is a senior manager in the IPC Strategic Investment Department and one of the Ten Stonehearts. Meanwhile, Firefly is a member of the Stellaron Hunters who suffers from Entropy Loss Syndrome due to genetic modification.
The first phase of Honkai Star Rail 2.3 banners is expected to begin on June 19, 2024, after the Phase 2 summons of Version 2.2 ends in the game. Firefly is believed to be the highlight of the Phase 1 banner while Jade could be the highlight of the Phase 2 banner. Given that banners in Star Rail change every three weeks, Jade may appear as a playable character in the middle of July.
Leaked Jade Kit In Honkai Star Rail
Although no official news from Honkai Star Rail has confirmed the character’s skillset, a leak has revealed much information on the upcoming Jade’s kit. She deals Quantum damage to enemies. Her unnamed Skill applies the Nephrite skill to buff a target’s Speed for some turns in exchange for the ally’s health. Jade gains energy with each attack by the buffed ally. She can also cast the skill on herself.
Speaking of Jade’s Ultimate, it deals immense Quantum damage to all enemies. After the ultimate, she gains increased Follow-Up charges and extra damage for the follow-up attacks. The elegant senior manager in the IPC Strategic Investment Department also possesses Passives that boost her Attack and Ultimate damage with each buff on allies.
Leaked Firefly Kit In Honkai Star Rail
Firefly’s Combat Type is Fire and she belongs to the Destruction Path. According to a leak shared by HomeDGCat on Reddit, she will possess AoE damage in her Overworld Attack. Her Technique is stated to be more impressive. Upon activation, Firefly moves swiftly for a specific time and gains invincibility, dodging all incoming attacks while her movement is hidden from the enemies. Hitting the Technique again will prompt Firefly to exit the state and deal AoE damage that affects all enemies.
The introduction of Firfely and Jade will increase the long list of the best 5-Star characters in Honkai Star Rail if the leaks about their skillset become official. The official information about the characters will be provided by the 2.3 livestream that is scheduled for June.
