HoYoverse is expected to maintain the tradition of bringing monthly version updates with Honkai Star Rail 2.4. Although official information about the upcoming update has been minimal, leaks from the beta and speculations have covered almost everything. The suspected Honkai Star Rail 2.4 livestream date interestingly coincides with the expected release of Genshin Impact Version 4.8.
Honkai Star Rail 2.4 Release Date (Expected)
HoYoverse hasn’t disclosed the official Honkai Star Rail 2.4 release date. However, given that Jade’s banner in the current version is ending at the end of this month, Version 2.4 of Honkai Star Rail is expected to be launched on either July 30 or July 31, 2024.
Version 2.4 drip marketing revealed Yunli and Jiaoqiu as upcoming playable characters. The granddaughter of General Huaiyan, Yunli is a Physical Destruction character. Jiaoqiu is a Fire Element character that belongs to the Nihility Path. Both have decent DPS which is why players must target a particular banner depending on what their team requires.
According to Honkai Star Rail 2.4 leaks, the accompanying 5-star characters in the banners shall be Huohuo and Black Swan. The leaks suggest that Yunli and Huohuo will headline Phase 1 summons whereas Jiaoqiu and Black Swan are going to feature in Phase 2.
Moreover, HoYoverse confirmed in the 2.3 livestream that the Hunt version of March 7th will debut alongside the Honkai Star Rail 2.4 release date. The 4-star character will belong to the Imaginary Element.
Honkai Star Rail 2.4 Expected Livestream Date
Honkai Star Rail 2.4 livestream is believed to go live on July 19, 2024, at the usual timings of 4:30 AM PT / 7:30 AM ET / 5 PM IST. HoYoverse’s Special Program shall not only reveal official details about the upcoming characters and events but also drop gift codes. Trailblazers can obtain free Stellar Jades by redeeming the Honkai Star Rail codes but they have to use them within 48 hours.
Version 2.3 update of the game rolled out on June 19, twelve days after the special livestream. This is the reason why HSR 2.4 Special Program is expected to go live on July 19, 2024. The link for the livestream is going to be provided a week prior to the event.
