Feixiao’s arrival in Version 2.5 was confirmed by HoYoverse’s drip marketing for Honkai Star Rail in the middle of July. The Merlin’s Claw of the Xianzhou Yaoqing is rumored to be a Wind Element character belonging to the Path of the Hunt. Feixiao is most likely to join the list of 5-star rarity characters which include Black Swan, Bronya, Blade, and HuoHuo.
Previous Honkai Star Rail 2.5 leaks claimed Feixiao will carry a high DPS with impressive Weakness Break qualities. Sakura Haven’s latest report on the Feixiao kit from the beta affirms the former rumors. The leak is tagged reliable, however, the foxian General’s skills could be changed in the future.
Honkai Star Rail 2.5 Leaks Reveals Impressive Feixiao Kit
According to the leaked Feixiao kit, the Wind wielder has abilities that inflict Weakness Break and reduce Toughness. The latter is inflicted on the enemies when the foxian activates their Ultimate which requires at least six Flying Aureus. Honkai Star Rail 2.5 leak by Sakura Haven, courtesy of CTheng, also mentioned that Feixiao has a Technique that increases the character’s Speed.

Talent — Thunderhunt
After every two attacks by allies, Feixiao gains 1 point of Flying Aureus. The General can unleash the Ultimate after reaching six points but can hold upto 12 points (longer finisher). However, the Ultimate doesn’t get counted for the Flying Aureus.
Additionally, when a teammate attacks, Feixiao launches a follow-up attack (FuA) on the target dealing damage equal to their Attack (100% to 250%). If the target is already eliminated, the foxian attacks a random enemy instead. FuA can be triggered once per turn and the count is reset at the start of Feixiao’s turn.
Technique — Stormborn
According to the Honkai Star Rail 2.5 leak, Feixiao will enter the ‘Onrush’ state after activating their technique. Speed is increased by 35% for 20 seconds while 1 Flying Aureus point is also gained.
The General pulls enemies, forces them to enter combat, and strikes all of them. Feixiao deals damage equal to 200% of ATK to all enemies at the start of each wave. When more than 1 enemy is pulled in, the DMG multiplier is increased by 100%. Most interestingly, the damage is guaranteed to be a Critical Hit.

Basic ATK — Boltsunder
Feixiao deals damage equal to their ATK (50% to 130%) to a single enemy.
Skill — Waraxe
Feixiao deals damage equal to their ATK (120% to 300%) to a single enemy. Moreover, the character gains ‘Advances Forward’ buff that boosts the time of their next action (5.0% to 12.5%).
Ultimate — Terrasplit
After using 6 Flying Aureus points, Feixiao deals damage that ranges from 504% (maximum 1008%) to 1008% (maximum 2016%) of their ATK, reducing the Toughness of the target. If the latter isn’t Weakness Broken, Feixiao’s Weakness Break Efficiency increases by 100%
During the Ultimate, Feixiao either launches Boltsunder Blitz or Waraxe Skyward multiple times, until the Flying Aureus is depleted and then lands the final hit. Each point of Aureus is converted to Wind damage. If the target is Weakness Broken, the DMG multiplier increases (9.0% to 18.0%). If the target is eliminated after the 6th Aureus, Feixiao automatically reserves the remaining Aureus and launches the final hit.
Boltsunder Blitz is activated when the target is Weakness Broken whereas the Waraxe Skyward is activated when the target is not Weakness Broken. In both cases, the DMG multiplier is increased.
Honkai Star Rail 2.5 Leaked Feixiao Traces & Eidolons
The following are the Trace abilities in the Honkai Star Rail beta Feixiao kit:-
- Heavenpath: Feixiao receives 4 points of Flying Aureus at the start of the battle. If there are no teammates alive at the start of a turn, get 1 point of Flying Aureus.
- Formshift: Feixiao’s Ultimate will be considered as launching a follow-up attack.
- Boltcatch: The Critical Hit Damage of FuA attacks increases by 60%.
Eidolons are also crucial to upgrading an HSR character. Provided that Trailblazers obtain duplicates of Feixiao, here are the upgrades they can make:-
- Skyward I Quell: When using Ultimate, for each point of Flying Aureus consumed, the final hit does additional damage to a random enemy.
- Moonward I Wish: The attack count required to gain Flying Aureus reduces by 1 count for Talent.
- Stormward I Hear: Basic ATK or Skill damage will be considered as a follow-up attack.
- Homeward I Near: Increases FuA Wind RES PEN by 20% and also increases the DMG multiplier of the Talent’s FuA. The dealt damage is considered Ultimate damage.
The foxian General is undoubtedly an all-round Attacker, capable of increasing Critical Hits, Critical Damage, Speed, and FuA. Fans desperately wait for the Honkai Star Rail Feixiao release.
