HoYoverse seems to have plenty of interesting changes in store for Honkai Star Rail Version 2.5. An update suspected to be released on September 9, leakers have already revealed a new pet system is about to debut in the anime-style role-playing game. The latest information by HSR leaker Uncle G7DD8tV has created more buzz around HSR 2.5. According to them, three 5-star characters will be available in the Phase 1 re-run banner apart from the rumored new, featured character, Feixiao.
Honkai Star Rail 2.5 Phase 1: Leaker Claims Trailblazers May See Switchable Banners In Reruns
Trailblazers are not taking the previous Honkai Star Rail 2.5 leak about switchable banners lightly anymore. Although it was based on ‘speculations’, the first-of-kind mechanic in the gacha seems to be a heavy possibility. Trailblazers may witness three characters appearing in the rerun banner and they will have the option to choose which adventurer they want to pull for.
According to a Reddit post shared by CTheng, Honkai Star Rail 2.5 Phase 1 will feature Feixiao in the main banner. The switchable rerun banner will include 5-star characters Kafka, Black Swan, and Robin. While the option to pick a rerun banner is certainly welcome by players, they are spoilt for choices because each is a meta character in Honkai Star Rail.
The leak also mentioned that the new 4-star character from Xianzhou Luofu, Moze, will feature in Honkai Star Rail 2.5 Phase 1 with Luka and Asta.
Supporting the previous statements by leakers, the Reddit post mentions that Phase 2 will feature the new 5-star character Lingsha and Dr. Ratio’s rerun. Meanwhile, the 4-star banner will include Misha, Natasha, and Guinaifen.
