According to a recent Honkai Star Rail leak, Sunday’s attire will undergo notable changes, particularly in his upper body garments. HoYoverse will include a few ‘golden’ touches to his appearance. The former head of the Oak Family’s current upper outfit consists of a white sleeveless coat, a navy-colored vest under the light gray blazer, and a black turtleneck that has a golden ornament in the middle.
The leaks around Sunday’s redesign in Honkai Star Rail further highlight the possibility of him appearing as a recruitable character. Previous leaks mentioned that Sunday will possess the Imaginary Element and belong to the Harmony Path.
Honkai Star Rail Leaks Tease Sunday’s New Appearance, Golden Cape & Black Gloves As Potential Changes
Sunday has been a favorite non-playable character (NPC) in Honkai Star Rail. He was introduced as a villain in the main story of Penacony, having trapped people in a dream state to rid them of the harsh realities of life. The Oak Family member did not contain any malice for humankind but instead, he made some good points about his mission. Players can battle Sunday in the ‘Harmonious Choir – The Great Septimus’ weekly boss fight after completing the mission, Everything that Rises Must Converge.
Amidst the rumors and leaks revolving around the character’s appearance in the banners, Seele Leaks mentioned that Honkai Star Rail Sunday is scheduled to get a redesign. His original white sleeveless coat will be replaced by a short-sleeved, multicolored coat. The left half of the coat will feature white with golden patterns while the right side of the coat will feature blue with white patterns.
Most interestingly, Sunday will get a short gold cape and a badge on his collar. The ‘badge’ can possibly be the golden ornament that was seen in the middle of his original attire badge on his collar. He will also sport black gloves instead of white.
While correcting his statement on Seele Leaks, CTheng mentioned that Sunday’s black loafers will be replaced by “long boots in dark blue and black” which will be decorated with golden designs.
The latest Honkai Star Rail leaks have increased the hype for the potentially upcoming playable character. Although there is no official information about Sunday’s release, he is suspected to arrive as the last of the Pencony releases. The upcoming Honkai Star Rail 2.4 banners will include Yunli and Jiaoqiu and the re-runs of other powerful characters.
Assuming from the Weekly Boss fight, the playable Honkai Star Rail Sunday is expected to use ‘Echoes of Faded Dreams’ debuffs on targets to deal additional Imaginary damage. The Third Phase of the Boss also features Sunday’s attacks ignoring the Defense of his targets.
