Sunday has extendedly received a mention in the Honkai Star Rail leaks. The former head of the Oak family was introduced in Version 1.6 and his playable debut has been a subject of rumors and speculations ever since.
Trailblazers were disappointed when the official drip marketing on August 27 only revealed Rappa. Fortunately, a recent leak from HSR Team Mew has given a potential Honkai Star Rail Sunday release window. It has also revealed details about a new Map allegedly slated to debut in the 3.0 update.
Honkai Star Rail Leaks: Sunday & Tingyun (Fox Form) To Arrive In 2.7 Banners
According to the previous Honkai Star Rail leaks, Sunday is an Imaginary Element character from the Path of Harmony, who is suspected of undergoing a model revamp following his playable debut. HoYoverse hasn’t revealed anything officially about the character. The recent leaks must be taken with a grain of salt.
Sunday is set to arrive in the first phase of Honkai Star Rail 2.7 with an unknown storyline. Phase 2 will feature Tingyun’s new “nine-tailed fox” form which is stated to be visually impressive. Both characters will be of 5-star rarity. Based on the latest leaks, the estimated Honkai Star Rail Sunday release window is December 2024.
Sakura Haven, a reliable leaker, reiterated the claims by HSR Team Mew while also revealing the 2.6 Light Cones; the gacha and event LCs being of the Path of Abundance and Path of Destruction, respectively.
It is worth mentioning that Tingyun is currently a 4-star Lightning-Harmony character. The next character, aptly dubbed New Tingyun, could possess Fire elemental powers.
HSR 3.0 Could Be A Greek-themed Update, More Pink Characters Set To Debut
Some interesting details about the characters and the new map have also been revealed by the Honkai Star Rail leaks. Version 3.0 will supposedly feature a Greek theme with characters wearing traditional attire. The new map would be based on the Aegean Sea while the new monster designs feature a mix of technology with divine elements. Honkai Star Rail 3.0 is also rumored to feature the true form of Herta.
HoYoverse is allegedly aiming to deliver more pink-themed characters after the arrival of the Hunt version of March 7th. According to the leak from Team Mew and confirmed by Uncle G7TDD8tv, Honkai Star Rail 3.1 will get another character with a “strong pink theme.” Moreover, Version 3.4 will feature a character with pink-and-purple themes that bears a resemblance to Elysia, the co-leader of The Thirteen Flame-Chasers in the story.
The latest leak has also touched on the Honkai Star Rail 2.6 character, Rappa. According to the lore, she is handed a graffiti by a monk who is claimed to be her sensei. This is why Rappa’s skills feature a unique graffiti style, especially in her Ultimate.
As per rumors, Rappa will be an Imaginary Element character hailing from the Path of Erudition. More details about her kit will be revealed soon.
