The Hunt version of March 7th is available for free in Honkai Star Rail Version 2.4. Formerly an Ice-Preservation character, the re-designed March 7th now wields Imaginary Element. The master swordswoman featured in the Xianzhou Luofu Wardance teaser, following which Trailblazers witnessed her new sakura (cherry blossom) theme and incredible DPS abilities.
Although a 4-star, the Honkai Star Rail March 7th Hunt kit can contest with some of the higher rarity Imaginary Element characters like Aventurine and Dr. Ratio. She is flexible in her role, possessing both support and damage-dealing abilities. Trailblazers can build her as a Crit DPS or Break DPS depending on their team’s requirements.
Official Honkai Star Rail March 7th Hunt Kit
A part of the Astral Express, March 7th will seemingly compete in the Wardance competition of Honkai Star Rail under the mentorship of Yunli. It makes sense because both are experienced swordswomen. Yunli is headlining the first phase of the Honkai Star Rail 2.4 banners while Jiaoqiu is slated for the second phase along with Sparkle’s banner re-run.
Honkai Star Rail March 7th Hunt’s kit is equally impressive as her new design. The details are as follows:-
Talent — Shifu, I’ve Ascended
March 7th marks an ally as her Shifu (master). Each time the Shifu attacks or uses their Ultimate, she gains one Charge and it is stackable up to 10 points. After reaching 7 points, March 7th switches to an Enhanced Basic Attack, increases her damage from the attack, and delivers three hits. There’s also a 60% chance to mete out more slashes with a maximum of three hits.
Technique — Feast In One Go
When March 7th is in a team, she gains 1 point of Charge at the beginning of the battle whenever an ally uses their Technique. A Maximum of three charges can be held according to the official Honkai Star Rail March 7th Hunt kit. Additionally, she regenerates 30 Energy after using Technique – Feast in One Go.
Basic ATK — My Sword Zaps Demons
March 7th Hunt attacks a single target and gains 1 point of Charge.
Skill — Shifu, It’s Tea Time!
March 7th increases the Speed of the chosen Shifu by 10%. Subsequently, she hits the target with a Basic or Enhanced Attack, triggering an effect based on the character Path of the Shifu:
- If the Shifu belongs to the Erudition, Destruction, or Hunt Path: March 7th’s skill deals additional damage of the damage type of the Shifu, equal to 20% of her own ATK stat.
- If the Shifu belongs to the Harmony, Nihility, Abundance, or Preservation: March 7th increases the Toughness Reduction of her skill.
Ultimate — March 7th, the Apex Heroine
Honkai Star Rail March 7th Hunt strikes a single target, dealing Imaginary Damage equal to 240% of her Attack. The initial hits per action of the next Enhanced Basic Attack are increased by 2 hits (the previous minimum being three hits), and she also increases the chance of additional hits by 20% (total: 80%).
The only disadvantage in the March 7th Hunt kit is that her Ultimate costs 110 energy. Otherwise, her ability to deal additional hits and buff an ally after choosing them as Shifu fits meta teams.
Why Is Honkai Star Rail March 7th Hunt Believed To Be A Meta?
Honkai Star Rail March 7th Hunt is arguably the best of the 4-star characters currently available in the game. When provided with a Critical Hit and Critical Damage build, she can dish out impressive damage while also supporting her Shifu with Speed buffs. For a Crit build, players must choose the 4-piece Musketeer of Wild Wheat Set and the 2-piece Rutilant Arena Set.
Trailblazers have been presented with a big opportunity to solidify their DPS teams with March 7th before the 2.5 update. The Imaginary Element character can be paired with Run Mei and Robin. Later, they can add Feixiao to the mix. Honkai Star Rail 2.5 leaked Feixiao kit disclosed that the Wind-wielding character will possess notable DPS qualities, including effects that arise from Weakness Broken.

Everything considered, the new version of March 7th is worth pooling resources for ascension and other upgrades. She can also sport a Break Damage build although most players prefer her Crit build.
