Trailblazers are allowed to unlock one 4-star character in the ongoing Honkai Star Rail Origami Bird Clash Event. The time-limited event running till July 29 features four available characters, namely Arlan, Gallagher, Hanya, and Luka. While those players focusing on the ‘collection’ aspect of HSR can choose whichever character that has eluded them so far, the others can select the best character for their team.
Honkai Star Rail Origami Bird Clash Event is unlocked once players complete the Trailblaze Mission ‘Stranger in a Strange Land’ in the Penacony region. At the beginning of the story missions of the event, players will be handed the ‘Fateful Crossings: Origami Bird Clash’ Item. They can recruit any featured 4-star character with this item.
Best 4-Star Character For Honkai Star Rail Origami Bird Clash Event
Out of the four featured characters in the Honkai Star Rail Origami Bird Clash Event, Hanya is the best pick. The Physical Support unit from the Harmony Path can provide various buffs to prolong the life of her team. She can be paired with DPS characters such as Black Swan, Arlecchino, Fu Xuan, and Argenti.
Hanya’s ‘Ten-Lords’ Decree, All Shall Obey’ Ultimate boosts the Speed and Attack of her allies for 2 turns. Her attacks can also apply Burden on enemies that provide a Skill Point to allies whenever they use a Basic ATK, Skill, or Ultimate on the Burden-afflicted target. Moreover, the damage dealt to the target increases by 30% for 2 turns.
A Speed and HP build is the most suitable for Hanya. The Messenger Traversing Hackerspace is considered to be her signature Relic Set because the 4-piece effect increases the speed of allies whenever Hanya uses her Ultimate. The Relic Effect stacks with the speed boost given by the Ultimate.
Trailblazers can increase Hanya’s hitpoints by equipping her with the Fleet of the Ageless Planar Ornament set. It increases her Max HP by 12% but the most important aspect of the set is that it increases all allies ATK by 8% if Hanya’s speed reaches 120 or higher.
Compared to the other 4-stars in the Honkai Star Rail Origami Bird Clash Event, Hanya is also the easiest to upgrade. Trailblazers can either choose to buff her Ultimate with Eidolon Effects or focus completely on Speed effects or don’t invest in Eidolons at all.
Although the best character to pick in the Honkai Star Rail Origami Bird Clash Event, Hanya does have defects such as squishiness and high energy cost. Players can remedy that in some way. Her low Defense can be covered by Shielders. Meanwhile, Hanya’s high-cost Ultimate can be used on the target’s turn because the buffs on an ally won’t be counted for that turn.
