Also known as Operation Memoria Snapshot, the Honkai Star Rail Trashcan Photographer event is initiated after Trailblazers accept an unusual request from a medical student. He wants to complete a special photoshoot that involves trashcans. Arriving in different ‘qualities’, Bronze, Silver, and Gold, each trashcan also has a corresponding number of points that are awarded to players after they take its image.
Honkai Star Rail Trashcan Photographer Event Duration And Eligibility
From August 7, 2024, trashcans will start appearing on the map at random places. Trailblazers need to catch them on camera preferably when they are doing special actions like showboating their muscles. Those who are a part of Finality’s Vision can experience the content in advance after fulfilling the prerequisite.
The Honkai Star Rail Trashcan Photographer event will end on August 19 at 3:59 AM Server Time. Unlike other events, it will last more than a week, giving players plenty of time to claim all rewards.
Trailblaze Level 21 or higher is required to unlock the Operation Memoria Snapshot event. Moreover, the developers recommend that players must complete the Trailblaze Mission in Penacony titled Tales from the Golden Age before experiencing the new content.
Honkai Star Rail Trashcan Photographer: Event Details And Rewards
Succeding the Honkai Star Rail I Dream of Dreamscape web event, Operation Memoria Snapshot is a call for action for “trashcan enthusiasts.” Capture the images of trashcans that will be spawning near popular streetsides. There are three varieties of trashcans in the event and each provides specific Capture Points.
- Bronze trashcans = 100 Capture Points
- Silver trashcans = 150 Capture Points
- Gold trashcans = 200 Capture Points (+100 bonus points if the trashcan is posing)
Taking the picture of a Gold trashcan while they are doing a special move awards players a total of 350 Capture Points. These points can be used to claim rewards, including 500 Stellar Jades.
While capturing a picture, the crosshair must focus on the trashcan. Trailblazers can also wait for a Gold trashcan to begin its special move or pose before taking their picture.
Apart from 500 Stellar Jades, rewards for the Honkai Star Rail Trashcan Photographer event include Tracks of Destiny, Traveler’s Guide, Lost Crystal, Refined Aether, Lupitoxin Sawteeth, and Credits.
