Honor of Kings Season 6, titled Fall In, was launched on June 12, 2024. Apart from Rank reset and various equipment adjustments, the new season introduced the Marksman Hero Luara. The reveal trailer featured the character summoning a Fire Serpent and this ability has transitioned to the game.
Tencent Timi Studio developers confirmed Luara will be a recruitable Hero following the Honor of Kings global expansion on June 20. Honor of Kings Luara is inspired by the Brazilian myth of Boitatá. According to legend, it is a giant snake with bull horns that blinds those who look directly into its fiery eyes. The Boitatá has similarities with Medusa from Greek mythology, who turned people to stone with her gaze.

Passive — Serpent’s Envoy
Luara’s Movement Speed is increased for a second after every kill or assist. Subsequently, her Basic Attacks can unleash a serpent blade with a 10% Attack bonus that continuously hits the enemy for 6 seconds. Upto 2 serpent blades can be stored. Additionally, when Luara’s Critical Rate reaches 50%, the serpent blade obtains a 30% Attack Speed boost.
Skill 1 — Deadly Fang
Honor of Kings Luara equips a serpent blade for 6 seconds, gaining 90% Movement Speed for 2 seconds. During this time, she can phase through walls.
Skill 2 — Furtive Attack
A Fire Serpent is summoned at the target location and it deals Magic Damage to the enemies in its entire path, also reducing their Movement Speed by 50% for 2 seconds. Any active serpent blades in Luara’s arsenal strike the enemies targeted by the Fire Serpent. If there are no blades, Luara’s Skill 2 cooldown is reduced by 50%. Ultimate — Blazing Glare
As aforementioned, Honor of Kings Luara’s Ultimate releases a Fire Serpent that blinds enemies for 2 seconds and deals Magic Damage. She gains 1 serpent blade and goes into a boosted state. Attacking or taking damage increases her Energy and at max energy, Luara releases a blast of Magic Damage.
