- Boot up XDefiant on any platform.
- Open the Main Menu and then select the Social tab. The shortcut key for Social on PS5 is L3.
- Choose Ubisoft Connect on the screen and then click Add.
- A ‘Search’ bar will appear. Enter your friend’s Ubisoft ID in the blank space.
- Pressing the Search button after writing the ID will yield results.
- Select your friend’s account after having confirmed their in-game username. A friend request will be sent to them.
Once the friend request is accepted, players can invite their friends from the Social tab. However, PlayStation players are an exception. They can invite friends playing on PS5 through Social but friends playing on PCs (crossplay) can only be invited from Ubisoft Connect.
