How To Change Username In Valorant? 5 Simple Steps
Players cannot change their Valorant username and tagline from the game settings. Instead, they have to sign into their RIOT Games account from the official website page. The option to change your username and tagline is located in the Account Management section on that page.
Follow the steps mentioned below to learn how to change username in Valorant:-
- Open your web browser and type https://account.riotgames.com/log-in in the search bar.
- Log into your RIOT Games account by filling in your username and password.
- Choose the My Account option located at the top right corner and then select Settings.
- While on the Account Management page, click on the Riot ID tab at the top left-hand side.
- Type your new username and even a new tagline if needed. Save the changes.
Once you have successfully changed your RIOT ID username, a confirmation message will show, “Your Riot ID has been updated successfully.” Players can then close their browser and relaunch Valorant from the RIOT Client or the EPIC Games Store Library

Changing the RIOT ID username is free. It won’t affect their friend list or their in-game ratings/rankings whatsoever. However, players can only change their username once every 30 days.
