Highlights:
* Darkness is among many resources that players can collect in Hades’ sequel.
* Players have to enter the Chaos Realm using Chaos Gates to obtain Darkness in Hades 2.
Hades 2 (stylized as Hades II) boasts a multitude resources like its predecessor, which players can collect for upgrading the weapons, in-game progression, or anything else. Darkness is one of the many in-game resources, which Supergiant Games have also included in Hades’ sequel.
In Hades, Darkness was useful for improving Zagreus’ power at the Mirror of Night. At the same time, in Hades II, the Artifact currency allows players craft Aspect of Thanatos. However, unlike the prequel where the said resource was readily obtainable, it is a bit trickier to get Darkness in Hades 2.
For a better clarity, players can find a guide on how to get Darkness in Hades 2, in the following section.
Obtaining Darkness In Hades 2 – All You Need To Know
Players can find the Darkness Crystals from Chaos Realm in Hades 2, which they can access through the Chaos Gates. Although there is no concrete information around their sudden appearance, players can expect Chaos Gates to spawn randomly, once they can registered enough in-game progress. Here’s how one can obtain Darkness in Hades 2’s Chaos Realm:
- Spot and approach a randomly spawned Chaos Gate.
- Sacrifice 10 HP to enter the Chaos Gate.
- In the Chaos Realm, interact with Chaos.
- After you have interacted enough, Chaos will automatically gift you Darkness materials, marking an in-game progress.
Chaos will only gift the Darkness for first interaction and players will have to obtain it on their own for the next time. They can enter the Chaos Gates by sacrificing some of their HP and float around to get Darkness. Currently, the Chaos Gates are the only way to claim Darkness in the game, as players can purchase it like many other resources.
