The new Call of Duty: Mobile season is almost here, as Activision is gearing up to roll out new content. One of the highlights of COD Mobile Season 8 is the all-new assault rifle, LAG 53, which will debut via the upcoming Battle Pass. The semi-automatic weapon will be a free tier rewards in CODM Season 8 Battle Pass, but players will still have to make some effort to unlock it. How To Unlock The All-New LAG 53 AR In COD Mobile Season 8 ‘Shadow Operatives’?
The brand-new assault rifle is arriving in COD Mobile on August 28, 2024 at 5:00 pm PT (August 29, 2024 at 12:00 am UTC), with the Season 8 Battle Pass. The gun will be available on Tier 21 of COD Mobile Season 8 Battle Pass and players will need to acquire enough BP XP to unlock it. To claim BP XP in Season 8, players can follow the steps given below:
- Play matches across all game modes (apart from vs AI or Practice range games) to claim Season 8 BP XP.
- Get free Season 8 BP XP from Credit Shop.
- Complete Season 8 Challenge Pass Weekly objectives to get BP XP.
- Spend COD Points (real money) on Season 8 Battle Pass to claim bonus BP XP after the matches. (Optional)
Once players have reached the Tier 21, they will claim the all-new Call of Duty: Mobile Season 8 weapon, which they can equip via Gunsmith loadouts. Players use the gun during the matches to unlock its attachments in Season 8, which they can later use to tweak the loadout build and enhance the attributes & performance. For the unversed, LAG 53 is a semi-automatic AR with low rate of fire and significant suppression. The gun is not an ideal option for CQCs, but can be used in mid and long-range battles.
Besides a brand-new assault rifle, Season 8 is also bringing the Assassin Perk, which will be accessible via Tier 14 of Battle Pass. The new perk will allow players to earn their streaks faster, get alerted about the position of enemies on a streak, and take them out to claim more score than usual eliminations. The new Season 8 Perk will also be a free tier reward and can be unlocked with BP XP.
