Call of Duty: Warzone and Modern Warfare 3 (stylized as Modern Warfare III) Season 4 Reloaded is live with new mid-season content, including the latest weekly challenges. The Season 4 Week 5 Challenges have also introduced the much-awaited Sledgehammer melee to the game, which fans can grab for free.
The latest WZ & MW3 Season 4 melee weapon allows players to bash their opponents with multiple attack modes, be it swings, an overhead attack, or a pole butt. At the same time, players will also be able to grab the “Dubs Dubs Dubs” weapon camo by completing an in-game challenge with the Sledgehammer melee.

Unlocking The Sledgehammer Melee In Modern Warfare 3 And Warzone Season 4
The Sledgehammer melee has debuted in Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone with the Season 4 Week 5 Challenges and to unlock it, players will have to complete any five tasks. They can check out all WZ & MW3 Season 4 Week 5 Challenges across MP (MW3), Zombies (MWZ), and BR (Warzone), and add their desired tasks to the tracking list:
WZ & MW3 Season 4 Week 5 Challenges – MP
- Get 30 operator assists – 2,500 XP
- Get 10 Operator Kills with the Gun-Butt of a recommended weapon – 5,000 XP
- Get 15 Operator One Shot One Kills with recommended shotguns – 5,000 XP
- Get 12 Operator Kills with Claymores, Proximity Mines, or C4 – 5,000 XP
- Perform three Finishing Moves on Enemy Operators – 7,500 XP
- Get three Operator Melee Double Kills – 7,500 XP
- Get two Operator Fury Kills with a recommended weapon – 10,000 XP
WZ & MW3 Season 4 Week 5 Challenges – Zombies
- Complete 10 Contracts – 2,500 XP
- Get 75 kills with the Gun-Butt of a recommended weapon – 5,000 XP
- Get 250 1 shot 1 Kills with a Pack-A-Punched recommended shotgun – 5,000 XP
- Get 75 kills with Claymores, Proximity Mines, or C4 – 5,000 XP
- Perform five Finishing Moves on Mercs – 7,500 XP
- Get 10 kills without being hit 20 times with a recommended melee weapon – 7,500 XP
- Get five Rapid Kills 30 times with a recommended assault rifle – 10,000 XP
WZ & MW3 Season 4 Week 5 Challenges – BR
- In Warzone Fortune’s Keep, get 10 Operator Kills in the North region (Gatehouse, Keep, and Terraces) – 2,500 XP
- In Warzone Fortune’s Keep, get 10 Operator Kills in the West region (Graveyard, Overlook, and Town) – 7,500 XP
- In Warzone Fortune’s Keep, get 10 Operator Kills in the East region (Konni Outpost, Lighthouse, Pier, and Winery) – 2,500 XP
- In Warzone Fortune’s Keep, get 10 Operator Kills in the South region (Ground Zero) – 7,500 XP
- In Warzone, place in the top 10 five times – 10,000 XP
- In Warzone, complete 10 contracts – 5,000 XP
- In Warzone, open 50 loot caches – 2,500 XP
