Kuro Games is set to introduce the first proper battle event in its popular gacha RPG title. Wuthering Waves Alloy Smelt Battle Challenge will include multiple stage challenges that need to be completed within a certain time limit to earn rewards. The ‘beat the clock’ aspect can also be seen in the Overdash Club event, a parkour challenge that was released at the end of May.
Wuthering Waves Alloy Smelt Challenge Release Date, Requirements & Gameplay
Wuthering Waves Alloy Smelt is a limited-time battle challenge that will begin on June 6 at 10:00 Server Time and end on June 27 at 03:59 Server Time. Running for a full three weeks, players can complete 10 challenges with their preferred team lineup. Those who lack powerful Resonators will be given trial Resonators for use in the event.
Alloy Smelt was first revealed on May 26, 2024, through a post on the Wuthering Waves event section page. As per the lore, Shilang, the Mineral Master, found a Sonoro Sphere alloy that opened a Rift in the mine. It is due to the Sonoro Sphere that the 10 stages in the event will have different buffs.
Players with Union Level 14 or above are eligible for the Alloy Smelt Battle Challenge. Once they reach the level requirement, they will unlock the event that will feature 10 Domains, starting from Breath Rift. They can select the Difficulty Level and check the Multiplier for the level before they begin the stage.
The higher the difficulty, the more points will be earned from defeating enemies in the Wuthering Waves Alloy Smelt Battle Challenge. In each Domain, players have to defeat waves of enemies within a time limit otherwise the stage will fail. They must continue to win the former stages to unlock the other stages.
Re-challenging a Domain is an option. When the total point scores reach a certain amount, players will unlock different rewards like Astrites, Premium Tuner, Premium Sealed Tube, and more.
Wuthering Waves Alloy Smelt Battle Challenge Rewards
The upcoming event is available for a limited time. As such, multiple run-ins in the Domains are required to reach the threshold for earning rewards. Kuro Games revealed a few possible rewards for the Wuthering Waves Alloy Smelt Battle Challenge on X:

- Malleable Elite Class Echo x2
- Premium Resonance Potion x6
- Premium Sealed Tube x6
- Premium Tuner x150
Astrites are crucial items for the Wuthering Waves gacha system. Meanwhile, the other items in the reward pool are essential for upgrading a character’s stats and overall potential. More developmental items will be available as rewards.
Wuthering Waves Alloy Smelt Battle Challenge undoubtedly requires the best Resonators in your team to step into the action. Pull 5-Star characters in Wuthering Waves from the 1.0 event banners to have the best chances of completing the Domains.
