Activision and TiMi Studio Group have revealed all upcoming features that players will get to see in Call of Duty: Mobile Season 9 2024 – Orbital Raiders. The global patch update is out and Season 9 is scheduled to commence on October 2, 2024 (PT) with the launch of the newest Battle Pass. In the upcoming BP lineup, the developers are bringing the Type 63 marksman rifle, which anyone will be able to claim for free. How To Get Type 63 In COD Mobile Season 9 2024?
Type 63 is the all-new weapon debuting in the CODM Season 9 2024. It is a solid long-range weapon from Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, which offers an impressive damage output with reliable control and accuracy. In Black Ops Cold War, Type 63 was available as a semi-automatic, while in COD Mobile it is classified as a marksman rifle. To unlock Type 63 in COD Mobile Season 9 2024, players will have to earn BP XP by following the steps below:
- Play matches in any game mode in Season 9 2024 (apart from the vs AI or training modes).
- Complete weekly missions in Challenge Pass Season 9 2024
- Activate the weekly challenges in Season 2024.
- Get some Season 9 BP XP from the Credit Shop.
- Complete the Themed event tasks in Season 9 – Orbital Raiders.
- Buy the Battle Pass for additional XP bonuses in Season 9 2024.
Once players have accumulated enough BP XP till Tier 21, they will automatically receive the Type 63 marksman rifle. Once acquired, they can equip the gun via MP or BR loadouts. They can also start using the gun in Season 9 matches or use the Weapon XP cards to unlock various attachments. These attachments will allow players to build their preferred for Type 63 in COD Mobile Season 9 – Orbital Raiders.
Apart from the new weapon, Season 9 Battle Pass also featured the Flamenaut scorestreak as a free reward at Tier 14. It is based on an eponymous killstreak from Call of Duty: Vanguard and provides the players with a flamethrower and a protective armor in MP mode. To unlock Flamenaut in Call of Duty: Mobile, players can follow the same process, i.e., earning BP XP through various means.
