Hunter X Hunter Chapter 405 Recap
Hisoka plays a game of poker at the casino in Tier 1. He thinks about how the Chimera Ants didn’t excite him at all since he wants to fight with powerful humans one-on-one. When he leaves the casino, Bonolenov, who is posing as Hisoka, sees him. The Phantom Troupe member wonders if it’s another fake. A flashback reveals how Chrollo ordered him to transform into Hisoka and meet other mafia members. We learn that after what happened to Shal and Kortopi, Chrollo is still hurting and wants to kill Hisoka himself.
Bonolenov’s internal monologue reveals how he killed Lynch when she found out his real identity and how he was posing as Hisoka. Although he took care of the person in charge of her IV drip, he starts to panic a bit after seeing the original Hisoka. Elsewhere, the mafia family heads and the Phantom Troupe members come up with a way to stop Heil-Ly and their new leader Morena. But we learn that Wang of the Cha-R family is a betrayer who is on Morena’s side.
The scene moves to Morena, who is talking to Dogman about Prince Halkenburg’s upcoming funeral. Dogman says that he can now easily sniff out Nen Users and identify them in a crowd. Morena says that she will need him to find someone in the crowd. According to her, she wants the person on their side. Morena’s other sidekicks start hunting other mafia gang members. Cha-R family’s Tajao leads the Phantom Troupe members down a tunnel. When he opens a door for them, Nobunaga, Feitan, and Phinks are all shocked.

The next issue will reveal what lies behind the door that Tajao opened for the Phantom Troupe. Wang, who is secretly working for the Heil-Ly family, will likely try to tell Morena what they found in the tunnel and how the Phantom Troupe plans to defeat her. On the other hand, Dogman and the others will attend Halkenburg’s funeral, not knowing that the Prince’s consciousness is still alive in Balsemilco’s body. Fans are also eager to learn which Nen holder they intend to kidnap.
