We have great news for romance anime fans, as the much-awaited Winter 2025 romcom title finally has a release date. Adapted from Akamaru Enomoto’s popular manga series of the same name, the show will debut in January 2025. A new trailer, which came out on November 12, 2024, also unveiled new cast members and theme songs of the series.
I Have A Crush At Work Anime Release Date & New Cast Members Announced
The much-awaited sweet romance title will begin streaming on Monday, January 6, 2025. The anime will be aired on Crunchyroll and new episodes will be out every week. Previously, we had learned that Seichiro Yamashita and Yume Miyamoto will be voicing the main couple, Masugu Tateishi and Yui Mitsuya. Other characters include Keisuke Somei voiced by Reio Tsuchida, Maria Morizono voiced by Yo Taichi and Shizuno Hayakawa voiced by Shizuka Ito.
The new preview video welcomed new voice actors and also introduced their characters to us. The new characters who made their appearance in the trailer are Chiharu Uto voiced by Misaki Watada, Yukiko Sakura voiced by Sora Tokui, Itsuro Mita voiced by Kentaro Tone, Hiromi Kiribayashi voiced by Shinichiro Miki, and Seiya Suzuki voiced by Kensho Ono. All these new people are part of the office where Magusu and Yui work together.
What’s The Story Of I Have A Crush At Work?
As the name suggests, the office romance revolves around young co-workers Masugu and Yui, who have a crush on each other. Despite having started a new relationship, the couple wants to keep it hidden from the other people at work. But it proves to be extremely difficult since the two of them can’t seem to stop running into and touching each other at inappropriate moments. With more and more people becoming suspicious of the two, Yui and Masugu have to work harder than ever to keep their love a secret.
The sweet and steamy romance title is being animated by Studio Blade. According to the trailer, the opening theme song of the show will be Ano Ne, performed by Polkadot Stingray. On the other hand, Futari Jime is the closing theme of the show, sung by Pachae. The original manga by Enomoto ran from 2019 to 2023 on Kodansha and has a total of 15 Tankobon volumes.
