BGMI is expected to reappear soon
It has been some time since the government outlawed Krafton’s Battlegrounds Mobile India due to national security considerations.
Popular game Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI), which was banned in the nation for several months, is expected to reappear very soon, according to top government sources who told News18 that a decision was made to unblock the App from online stores for three months.
According to the sources, it was suggested to lift the ban temporarily with some changes to the game’s original design following a meeting in the government. They continued by saying that the plan was started after the company made some adjustments and assured the government that it would abide by all regulations.
Restrictions that may be seen when BGMI returns
Limited Play Time
The sources claim that because there will be time limits and restrictions on playing hours, players won’t be able to participate in the game continuously.
No Blood and Other Internal Changes and Server
Since they changed the game’s colour settings, there won’t be any blood. Blood colour could be changed from red to blue or green in the previous version, but this time it will be the default setting. The government has asked the company to make appropriate changes to the game, including the server, as a result of allegations that the game is addictive and that players’ fixation with it has led to murders and suicides.
Conclusion
It also discussed the app’s various problems, but the most important one was that it was communicating with servers that were either directly or indirectly based in China. Other “re-branded” apps have been confirmed by sources to be communicating with Chinese servers and to be under investigation.
