The three-minute and nine-second trailer didn’t reveal much about the storyline but teased the antagonist, Messmer the Impaler. At the same time, the trailer also provides a look at the Land of Shadow, where the Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree expansion takes place.

As mentioned, the new expansion brings a brand-new storyline set in the Land of Shadow. At the same time, the significant DLC also brings new weapons, weapon skills, magic, and equipment that were not a part of the base game.
