Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 251 Explained
In Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 251, we see Yuta and Yuji tag team against Sukuna and their plan to wear him down and save Megumi is seemingly working. Sukuna, the King of Curses is overwhelmed and cornered and he can’t fight to his full potential still because of his previous fight with Satoru Gojo where he had to go all out.
Yuta’s Secret Revealed in Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 251
Yuta reveals that the reason he can copy and use Sukuna’s techniques is because he’s the final finger Sukuna was missing. Sukuna has been running at 19 fingers capacity and for a long time, the location of the 20th finger was a mystery. It would seem that Yuta has consumed the 20th finger- either that or he himself is somehow the 20th finger.
Rika continues to pressure Sukuna by supplying Yuta with an infinite amount of cursed energy and also going blow for blow against Sukuna in close-range. Yuji also does the same with his cursed techniques to try and break Sukuna’s hold over Megumi’s body- he even goes as far as to spit blood in his face.
Even Maki joins the fight as she stabs the King of Curses- seemingly severely injuring him. But all of this still isn’t enough to stop the Sukuna as he manages to fatally injure Yuta in the process. Yuta is down for the count and it’s not clear whether he’s dead or just gravely wounded and unable to move.
Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 251 ends with Sukuna using his most devastating spatial attack- the “World-Cutting Slash” which cuts through anything and everything. The fate of Yuta is hanging by a thread. We also see Megumi trying to summon Mahoraga again- maybe to deal with this attack.
