The spoilers for the upcoming chapter of Gege Akutami’s JJK manga were released on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter). Fans had a lot of expectations from this update, especially after Nobara’s shocking comeback in chapter 267. Unfortunately, even after all the build-up, the ending felt a little too flat. The only thing fans loved was Yuji’s reunion with his friends.
Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 268 Spoilers Start Inside Megumi’s Mind
The new spoilers revealed the alleged title of the next chapter, which is ‘Conclusion’. It begins with Sukuna berating Megumi’s soul for trying to live on. The villain reminds him that he not only allowed Sukuna to take his body but also killed his own sister, Tsumiki, and rejected help when it was offered. He orders Megumi to give up and let him have his body completely. Megumi asks why Sukuna is so desperate when the villain’s body starts to fade. Fushiguro reminds him that Itadori can kill him and Nobara’s resonance will also have a bad effect on his one remaining finger. Megumi says that although he never intended to live a normal life, there are many people out there other than Sukuna and he would like to live for someone else this time.
The alleged spoilers then reveal that Yuji’s domain has started to fall apart as Sukuna’s reincarnation is ripped away from Megumi’s body. Itadori looks down at Sukuna’s sad remains and asks him what he will do. He tells Sukuna, “You’re me”, and picks up the residuals. He then says that when someone is born with a curse, their becoming a monster is a matter of fate. He offers Sukuna a chance to live with Yuji and says that even if no one else accepts him, he alone will live with him. Sukuna seems angry at the proposal and reminds Yuji that he is a Curse.
Yuji, Nobara, And Megumi Reunite With Each Other
The chapter spoilers then move to Hakari and Uraume, who had been fighting for all this time. Uraume realizes that Sukuna has been defeated and Hakari asks her what they should do now. Uraume answers that there’s nothing more left for them to do. She says the only reason the sorcerers won is because Sukuna was in a reincarnated body and tells Hakari that they were just lucky. Hearing this, Hakari says that calling him lucky is the best compliment she could give him. After that, Uraume’s body crumbles away into nothingness.
In the next panel, Megumi wakes up to find Nobara and Yuji trying to hide in a box. When he asks what they are doing, his two friends say that they are trying to surprise him with Kugisaki’s survival. He tells them that he already knew since he felt her attack inside Sukuna. Nobara asks why her comeback didn’t make them cry and Yuji admits that he shed tears when he first realized that she was alive. The three of them sit together and Yuji gives them both two letters written by Satoru Gojo. Nobara crushes her letter and says that it details the whereabouts of her mother, something she apparently doesn’t want to know. Megumi on the other hand, laughs when he reads his letter, in which Gojo apologizes for killing his father Toji. The final page of the alleged spoilers reveals that the group still has to save Yuta. Maki, Panda, Inumaki, Kusakabe, Miwa, and Momo all gather with Yuji, Nobara, and Megumi to plan Okkotsu’s rescue. The spoilers also announced that the manga will be on a break next week.
