Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 269 Recap
Mei Mei, who was absent for the most part during the fight against Sukuna, is seen standing over an elderly person at a candy shop. The scene moves to Yuta Okkotsu revealing how Rika kept supplying his body with RCT, which was why he could get back to his original form after using Gojo’s body in the battle. Everyone talks about how things could have gone differently and the regrets they have about the Shinjuku Showdown. Ui Ui points out how he is the MVP of the war since Kusakabe, Higuruma, and Ino are all alive because of him.
Kusakabe comments that Mei Mei was useless during the fight, to which Ui Ui says that his older sister did her job with the New Shadow Style elders. It is then revealed that the leaders of the New Shadow Style school place a lot of Binding Vows and other charms on the pupils, which forces them to abide by certain rules and stops other people from using the Simple Domain. But Kusakabe says that he is the current leader of the New Shadow Style school and allowed Yuji and the other sorcerers to use Simple Domain against Sukuna.
In a flashback, we see Mei Mei confronting the elder in a shop. She talks about how the three main clans, Gojo, Kamo, and Zen’in, will fall in the battle. She points out that due to the New Shadow Style school leaders’ control over Simple Domain, many sorcerers had to lose their lives. In the end, she kills the elder as blood drips down the shop.

People have a lot of expectations from the penultimate issue of JJK. It is likely that we will find out more about the three clans that Mei Mei talked about. After Maki’s massacre at the Zen’in house and Satoru Gojo’s death, both Zen’in and Gojo clans are very weak right now. If a clan war breaks out, it would be interesting to see if a different family is able to seize control of the sorcerer world. A lot of fans think that a sequel manga might be on the way which will focus on the clan battle.
