What Can You Expect From Kagurabachi Chapter 47?
The conclusion of the previous installment hinted at a new fight scene. Chihiro Rokuhira and Hakuri Sazanami will be deployed to a new location where they will have to find the swordbearer who survived the Hishaku’s sudden invasion. The duo will likely have to fight against some Hishaku members to ensure the Enchanted Swordbearer Uruha’s safety. Afterwards, we might also get to know more about Uruha and the blade they are in charge of.
Kagurabachi Chapter 46 Recap
The latest chapter of the manga begins with Chihiro Rokuhira sitting in a room surrounded by the Kamunabi members. A flashback shows how Shiba could not join him as he had injured some members after Kunishige’s death and left the organization afterward. In the present, some Kamunabi members argue about whether Chihiro is actually the legendary swordsmith Kunishige Rokuhira’s son.
One member reveals that the sword bearers who have contracts with the Enchanted Blades are kept in safe locations guarded by powerful sorcerers. However, if they want to seal the Shinuchi blade, they would need Chihiro and Hakuri’s help to move the other blades. The members start to argue amongst themselves about whether it’s a good idea to let two random guys enter their ranks. One of them even tries to kill Chihiro as he thinks they can entrust his sword Enten to someone else.
However, the door to the meeting room bursts open and a man reveals that one of the locations where a sword-wielder is kept has been annihilated. It seems to be the work of the infamous group Hishaku, who also killed Chihiro’s father. The protagonist comments that he is the Kamunabi’s best bet as his Enten is the only usable Enchanted Blade they have access to right now. It would also be quicker if he joined the ranks than finding another wielder worthy of the sword. In the end, the Kamunabi accepts both him and Hakuri as members. The two of them are then asked to save the life of the swordbearer who is on the run from the Hishaku.
