Kagurabachi Chapter 51 Recap
In a flashback, Samura says it’s a shame that he can’t see Chihiro’s face, prompting Shiba to ask why he blinded himself in the first place. The swordsman answers that he wanted to let go of worldly passions such as hate, anger, and desire, which can dull one’s mind and blade. Blinding himself helped him stay away from such trivial matters. When Shiba points out that he still wants to smoke, and gets angry from time to time, the two get into a small fight.
Later, when little Chihiro is unable to cut through rolled-up straws in one go, Samura says he’ll show him how it’s done. In the present, the assassins from Hishoku attack the temple and the guards notice that there are more enemies here than there were in Kokugoku. Despite their best efforts, one side of the temple is destroyed. Kamura suddenly emerges and says he’ll take care of it. When Hakuri learns about it, he wants to go help him, but the other Kamunabi sorcerers and Uruha say that it’s best to let the swordsman handle it alone.
At the battleground, Samura easily cuts through the assailants even though he can’t see them. We learn that he follows the sound of his own sword to locate his enemies and finish them off with incredible speed. Uruha reveals that Samura uses the Iai sword technique. The chapter comes to an end with Samura slashing all the attackers with his sword. It is revealed that he is the bearer of the Enchanted Blade Tobimune.
Kagurabachi Chapter 52 Predictions
Although the normal assassins are killed, it is likely the Hishaku will send more crafty sorcerers to kill the Enchanted Blade owners in the next issue. If Hakuri’s treatment works, he can start to use his sorcery to bring Uruha’s Kumeyuri blade and Samura’s Tobimune blade back from the Hishaku. After that, they will easily be able to defeat the organization’s other members. On the other hand, we might get an update on Chihiro, who is fighting the Hishaku sorcerer Hirohiko.
