The latest chapter of Takeru Hokazono’s popular manga series was hands-down one of its best. Not only did we learn about the history behind Makizumi and how these ninjas came to become Samura’s bodyguards. But Hakuri was able to use the Sazanami clan’s Storehouse ability to bring Tobimune to the blind sword-bearer. In the end, fans got a glimpse of the Enchanted Blade’s first bird-themed ability.
Kagurabachi Chapter 56 Review: The Makizumi Were Ready To Die For Samura
Makizumi, which consists of three well-trained sorcerers, comes from a long family of protectors. During the Seitei war, many Makizumi warriors gave their lives for the organization which later became the Kamunabi. The remaining trained their children to carry out the family’s name as usual. The three current guards of Samura are also part of this lineage and have been trained to obey and protect their master. However, Samura refuses to let anybody die because of him. In the recent chapter, Hakuri tries to use his sorcery but fails at first due to extreme fatigue.
The attackers, who belong to the evil organization Hishaku, started to increase in number. Samura, who is blind and depends on his excellent hearing and other senses, was completely overwhelmed by all the smoke and debris. He was forced to follow the source which generated the most bloodlust. However, when he crosses swords with the person, it turns out to be Uruha, who lures him to the escape mandala. The Makizumi thank him for saving their master and transporting them outside the temple. The three bodyguards then get ready to buy Samura, Uruha, and Hakuri some time to escape.
Hakuri Uses Storehouse To Bring Back Samura’s Enchanted Blade
The only reason both Uruha and Samura were forced to leave the temple was because they didn’t have access to their Enchanted Blades. The opponents, who were using Datenseki weapons, could overpower and kill them at any moment. Uruha asks for Samura’s forgiveness but reminds him of how many lives depend on them staying alive. When Samura starts yelling at him, Hakuri holds the swordbearer’s hand and uses his sorcery to retrieve Tobimune from Hishaku’s grasp. Hakuri’s power allows him to access things that belong to anybody his ability registers.
He was previously able to save many people during the Rakuzaichi Arc by bringing them outside of his father’s Storehouse. In the recent chapter, he allows Samura to use Tobimune on the attackers. The blade’s first ability, known as ‘Crow’ seems to unleash thousands of crow feathers as Samura cuts through his opponents with mastered ease. Even though the Makizumi are thrilled to see him, he threatens to fire them all for the stunt they pulled. Tobimune and Samura became an unstoppable force, which excited the fans.
