*Kagurabachi chapter 58 explained: Samura revealed why he betrayed the Kamunabi.
*Just as Uruha falls to the ground, Hakuri uses his sorcery to retrieve Chihiro.
The latest issue of the popular manga gave the audience some insight about how Samura killed Uruha. Hakuri, who was half-unconscious, overhears their conversation but is unable to stop Samura due to extreme fatigue. Unfortunately, Uruha doesn’t stand a chance against Samura, who now has his Enchanted Blade. As the sword-bearer falls, Hakuri brings Chihiro back from his fight with Hiruhiko in hopes of stopping Samura.
Samura’s Battle Against Evil Is Far From Righteous
In chapter 57, Hiruhiko was able to wield the Enchanted Blade Kumeyuri, pointing at Uruha’s possible death. The recent chapter begins at the Shinkutsuji Temple exactly seven minutes before the incident. After killing the Hishaku sorcerers with the Tobimune blade, Samura used his powers to knock out everyone at the temple other than Uruha. Hakuri, who is half awake, listens to their conversation as the Kumeyuri-wielder asks his senior why he’s doing this. Samura, who is extremely guilt-ridden about the actions of the Enchanted Blade bearers during the Seitei War, begins to reveal his plan.
He says that recovering all the Enchanted Blades won’t change anything if they can’t also remove the sword bearers from existence. He reminds Uruha how they had covered up the atrocities they had committed with the Blades during the war. According to Samura, the sword bearers are even more evil than the Hishaku who had killed Kunishige Rokuhira to steal the Blades. He promises to kill all five remaining sword bearers, including himself, and bring an end to everything. When Uruha asks if he intends to let Hishaku use Kumeyuri after his death, Samura says it’ll only be for a while before he kills the whole organization as well.
Kagurabachi Chapter 58 Explained How Hiruhiko Could Use Kumeyuri
After hearing Samura’s intention to completely root out evil, Uruha debates what to do in his mind. In the end, he says that he can’t be the people who have sacrificed their lives for him to go to waste. In a tragic but beautiful scene, both swordsmen draw their blade. However, it only takes Samura a moment to kill Uruha, who doesn’t have his Enchanted Blade. This causes Kumeyuri’s ownership to go from Uruha to Hiruhiko. As he watches this, Hakuri feels extreme guilt for bringing back Samura’s sword and not Uruha’s. In a desperate attempt to stop Samura, Hakuri uses the last of his strength to bring Chihiro back to the temple using his sorcery.
Fans are pretty divided on what to feel about this chapter as the death of Uruha still sits heavy in their hearts. Many of them are wondering how Samura actually intends to stop the Hishaku sorcerers after practically handing the Enchanted Blades and all their powers over to them. It could be that he wanted Chihiro to kill Hiruhiko and destroy Kumeyuri after Uruha’s death. Since Enten seems to be the only Sword that can break the other Enchanted Blades, it seems to be plausible. It is likely Samura didn’t take Hakuri’s power into account as he had knocked him unconscious before killing Uruha.
However, now that Chihiro is at the temple, he will most likely try to stop Samura. Killing the experienced swordsman will not only be hard but also dangerous, since it will hand the ownership of another blade to Hishaku. Fans are still pumped to see a full-fledged battle between Samura and Chihiro, whose ideals are similar, but paths are conflicting. If Chihiro somehow manages to win, his best bet would be to break the Tobimune sword and then kill Samura to avoid any accidents. Readers are also hoping that Shiba will make an appearance and help Chihiro against Samura.
