Kai Cenat won the award for being the Streamer of the Year in the Streamy Awards 2022
Last Sunday, December 4, 2022, marked the end of the 2022 YouTube Streamy Awards. This award show featured several awards of different categories for the most accomplished streamers and content creators out there. Out of all the awards, Kai Cenat got, perhaps, the most prestigious award of the event, “Streamer of the Year”.
Several reputed, and iconic streamers were nominated for the Streamer of the Year award at the YouTube Streamy Awards. This included the likes of Darren ‘IShowSpeed’ Watkins Jr., Imane ‘Pokimane’ Anys, Tarik ‘tarik’ Celik, Félix ‘xQc’ Lengyel, and a few more. However, the one who won the award was Kai Cenat.
After receiving the prestigious reward, Kai Cenat was in immense joy and even commented saying that he felt like he was at the Grammy’s while accepting the award. Then, in his speech, he went on to thank all his kin and kith who pushed him on a daily basis to be the best version of him.
Kai was also nominated for the Breakout Streamer award, however, in that one IShowSpeed had the upper hand and got the award for it.
Apart from Kai Cenat being the Streamer of the Year, multiple iconic figures in the content creation world also got awards for their contribution. Some of the honourable mentions are stated below:

Kai Cenat started his streaming career in January 2018 when he uploaded his first video on YouTube. His videos were primarily about pranks and challenges. Later, he joined the YT group called AMP, and he regularly appeared in that group’s videos.
