Kaiju No. 8 Chapter 111: What To Expect
In Kaiju No. 8 Chapter 110, we saw a more detailed backstory of Kafka and Mina. Kafka had always wanted to join the JDF and be a gunner. He wanted to shoot down big Kaijus flashily with his guns. On the other hand, Mina had just wanted to save lives and protect people from the threat of Kaijus.
Fate handed them different cards however and now Mina is the JDF commander with a gun whereas Kafka just wants to save and protect lives. At the end of the last episode, we saw Kafka tap into his inner worm and let the real Kaiju No. 8 take control.
Now that he’s gone full Daikaiju, it’s up to the worm to defeat Kaiju No. 9. In the next episode we’ll see more of Kafka’s incredible transformation and we’ll learn more about the sentient worm that infected Kafka and why he wants to kill all the Kaijus so bad.
