What Can You Expect From Kaiju No. 8 Chapter 114?
The new chapter ended on a massive cliffhanger as the Meireki Era Daikaiju was let loose by Kaiju No. 9. Upon returning to reality, it launched a severe attack on Kaiju No. 8. Fans will witness the aftermath of the devastating blow in the upcoming chapter and also see what damage it did to Kafka’s body. The rest of the Defense Force members, including Mina, will probably try to contain the Daikaiju, causing another battle.

The newest chapter begins with the Defense Force members getting excited as Kafka’s attack cracks Kaiju No. 9’s core. However, just as Kafka delivers the finishing blow, his opponent says they should have a chat and teleport him into another dimension. Kafka looks around and sees the fallen bodies of many soldiers and a mask that he thinks he has seen before. A much smaller version of Kaiju No. 9 appears before him and says that Kafka has always seemed familiar to him.
He then says that when he sensed who was inside Kafka, he knew it was a stroke of fate from ages ago. When Kafka doesn’t understand, Kaiju says that he might not be linked with the being properly yet. He says that although he has enjoyed fighting Kafka and liked conducting research on humans, he has finally been defeated. But Kafka does not believe it as something starts to come out of Kaiju No. 9’s body.
It is revealed that by destroying his core, Kafka has disturbed the equilibrium inside Kaiju No. 9 which kept all the Kaijus inside him at bay. When his control is broken, all the monsters inside him roll out, shocking even the Kaiju inside Kafka. No. 9 comments that the most powerful monster inside him is the Daikaiju from the Meireki Era, who will become a beast of destruction upon release. The narrative moves to reality and Mina sees the fallen Kaiju run an arm through Kafka’s chest, likely injuring him fatally.
