The popular CS: GO player Kaike Cerato aka Kscerato
Kaike Cerato better known as Kscerato is a Brazilian CS:GO professional and a star player for FURIA Esports. His round-to-round and tournament consistency aided him to break into the top 20 HLTV rating for the first time in 2020, placing him in 18th. He improved even on that achievement in 2021, finishing in 15th showcasing exceptional fragging and gameplay, furthermore continuing his legacy as 9th best in 2022.
Kscerato’s amazing journey
In 2009, he and his brother Kauan “kNc” Cerato skipped class to play Counter-Strike at a LAN house. He then spent the next few years scaling the ranks, competing in a multitude of competitions in his hometown, So Paulo while closely monitoring the competitive scene both at home and internationally.
His first notable performance was at the first r1seCup in 2015, where his team “army5”, was defeated in the group stage by Dexterity, yet heading a solid foundation for future international tournaments. He was invited to join FURIA’s academy project, and only a few weeks later, he was elevated to the main squad. The newly formed FURIA team got off to a fast start, winning the Aorus League 2018 Season 1 Final in March. But their dominance wasn’t for long losing ESL Latin America League Season 1 Final and ESL One Belo Horizonte South America Closed Qualifier. FURIA’s breakthrough year in 2019 was when they finally qualified for a Major after placing second at the Americas Minor which led to IEM Katowice.
HLTV ratings
With amazing gameplay on the line ever since, he was rated the 11th-best player in 2020, partly due to his consistency across the board. He had 1.08+ ratings in 10 of the 11 notable competitions wherein he competed.
Kscerato marks his second entry on the top 20 players list in 2021, claiming the position 15th to his name, thanks to his elite quality gameplay throughout the year. He averaged a 1.20 rating at Big Tournaments, making him the fourth-highest-rated player there.
In 2022 he stands out as the 9th best, marking a new bookmark for himself. He maintained his status as one of the most difficult riflers to kill throughout 2022, posting 0.59 deaths each round and was an elite-tier T-side player all year with an average rating of 1.12.
