About LEC Spring 2023 tournament
The 10th European League of Legends split, the LEC Spring 2023, is currently taking place at LEC Studio in Berlin. A total of 10 teams from the EMEA(Europe, Middle-East and Africa) region are seen competing against each other. The tournament consists of €80,000 prize pool that will be shared among the top 4 teams. The team that will secure the 1st position will head for the Mid-Season Invitation and LEC Finals. The actions began on the 11th of March with the Regular Season and now reached the final day of Week 1 with matches left to be played out. After the Regular Season, the top 8 teams will play in Group Stage, and later the Playoffs will take place with the top 4 teams.

About the tournament structure and format
The tournament follows a 3-stage format featuring Regular Season, Group Stage and Playoffs. Let’s move in for the complete structure details of the tournament.
· Regular Season
All 10 teams are currently in this stage following a single round-robin format with all matches of the Best of 1 series. Once this stage is over, the top 8 teams will make their way to the Group Stage.
· Group Stage
The top 8 teams from the Regular Season will play in this stage. 2 groups will be drawn where the teams will follow the GSL format. The matches will be of best-of-3 game series, with the top 2 teams making it to the Playoffs.
· Playoffs Stage
The top 4 teams will be seen in action and drawn in the Page-McIntyre bracket. The matches will be a best of 5 game series.
What to expect?
As of now, Week 1 is going on of LEC Spring 2023. Today, the 13th of March, the final games of Week 1 will take place, and fans will then have to wait for next week to enjoy the Week 2 actions. The Regular Season is split across a total of 3 weeks, with three matchdays each. Matches are live-streamed on LEC’s official YouTube channel.
