LEGO Fortnite leaks have been doing the rounds on social media a few days before the update goes live. The latest leaks suggest that two new animals will debut in the game and players can take their interactions with animals to the next level by taming them. These tamed animals could be kept on one’s farms or used as pets that aid them in battle.

The next LEGO Fortnite update will roll out on April 23, 2024. Rumored to be titled Version 29.30, there have been many interesting leaks surrounding the next update. The addition of a ‘taming’ system is the most highly anticipated feature.
Accoridng to LEGO Fortnite leaks for the upcoming update, Animal Cookies are set to be introduced in the block-based survival game. These cookies can be fed to wild animals to calm them and even pet them. This mechanic will enable players to tame Boars, creatures rumored to be introduced in the next update.
LEGO Fortnite recently revealed that Pigs will be the new interactable animals in the next update. Given the leaks on Animal Cookies and Boars and news on the debut of Pigs, iFireMonkey on X justified rumors that the upcoming update will be “focused on barns/farms.”
A teaser video almost confirmed that Boars will appear in LEGO Fortnite. The short clip shared on X, captioned “What was that?”, shows a character being startled by a loud roar that seems to be that of a Boar. Players have even speculated that animal raids could be a part of the game in the future.
Due to LEGO Fortnite leaks suggesting that Farming and Taming will be the update’s focal points, players may get new buildable structures for constructing stables to protect their livestock or stys for their pigs.
The upcoming update has also confirmed to debut Edit Styles for skins. Previously, players could only use one pre-set Style for their characters even though the Fortnite version of the skin had multiple variants. This will change in the next update and allow players to choose multiple customization options.
