Lookism Chapter 535 Recap
Area 1 head Shin Arim confronts Hudson Ahn. After some back and forth, the two start fighting. Surprisingly, Hudson notices that he can’t land his powerful punch on Shin as he keeps deflecting it with his shoulder. This problem is for Hudson as Shin starts punching him whenever he puts some distance between them. The Area 1 head mocks him by saying that if he’s this weak despite being the leader, his teammates must be even worse. The other Area 1 head Min Jihoon attacks Zack with a massive kick. We then see the Area 2 head Park Hyunjin beating up Vin Jin and Vasco.
He slams Vin Jin onto the ground with an impeccable Judo move. Then walks toward Vasco. The scene moves to Area 3, where the head Hyun Sanjin slashes his metal-clawed hand toward Eli, who barely dodges it. The attack still leaves some gashes on his clothes and skin. As the two start fighting, Sanjin says that Eli can’t copy it since it’s in the realm of geniuses. Back in Area 4, the leader Kang Jinchan dodges all of Daniel’s attacks and says that he’s bored. He hits the protagonist with one of his own moves, and we learn that he’s a copying genius. Apparently, all the Kings of Busan are combat geniuses.
However, they aren’t able to keep the upper hand for much longer. Hudson drives Arim into a corner, from where he can’t escape. He remembers the words of his master, and how much he trained his deadly punch. When his opponent rolls his shoulder again, he punches his shoulder and his power breaks the wall behind him. Jihoon tries to attack him then, but is quickly taken down by Zack. In Area 2, Vin Jin grabs onto Hyunjin’s leg and says that he’s excited to fight someone who knows Judo with a massive smile on his face. In Area 3, Eli reveals that he also knows the Claw technique as he grew up in a wild environment. Lastly, Daniel overpowers Jinchan and says that he too, is a copy genius.

The next issue will likely continue with the intense action scenes. The two Area 1 Kings have already been defeated, so it will likely focus more on Area 2, where Vin Jin will fight the massive leader Hyunjin, who’s a master of Judo. Moreover, Eli will show Sanjin what a person who grew up in a tough environment can do when driven into a corner. Lastly, it will be fun to see the two copycats Daniel and Jinchan go head-to-head, but it should be an easy win for the protagonist. After they take over the city, the Allied forces will go up against Jinrang, the man who wants to unify Busan.
