A 2022 action-role-playing game- Xenoblade Chronicles 3, is all you need to know
Developed by Monolith Soft and published by Nintendo for Nintendo Switch- Xenoblade Chronicles 3, the action-adventure single-player game is an absolute masterpiece of work. Released on July 29, 2022, the game- Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is the eighth main entry in the Xeno series and the fourth installment of the open-world Xenoblade Chronicles franchise.
The main storyline of the Xenoblade Chronicles 3 depicts the consequences of the worlds portrayed in Xenoblade Chronicles and Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and concludes the trilogy’s overall story. The main intention of the development team was to develop a story-driven title with combat gameplay and featuring content like the first two titles in the Xeno series.
Gameplay:
Xenoblade Chronicles 3- the action-role-playing game, unlike earlier installments, the game permits seven party members, including the main party and an additional “Hero” character, to participate in combat at once. By completing story objectives or side quests, players can recruit up to 19 Heroes, each with a unique set of abilities and skills. In addition, Party members will also get the ability to modify or change their character class.
The Interlink system authorizes some specific pairs of party members like- Lanz and Sena, Noah and Mio, and Eunie and Taion, to combine into Ouroboros- a larger form with more powerful moves, under specified conditions.
Well, just like the earlier entries, the game uses an open-world design with a day-and-night time cycle that affects in-game events, such as the availability of items and quests.
Battle System:
An action-based battle system is also featured in Xenoblade Chronicles 3, where the player manually moves the current lead character in real-time, and party members “auto attack” when enemies step in their attack radius.
In addition, players can also switch between characters in the middle of combat, which is different and unique from previous titles. Members of the party employ abilities called “Arts” and depending on a character’s position about the enemy, some Arts may deal bonus damage.

The game- Xenoblade Chronicles 3 has been nominated for the Golden Joystick Awards 2022, in the category of “Ultimate Game of the year”, “Best Nintendo Game” and “Best Audio”.
In addition, Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is also nominated for The Game Awards 2022 in the category of “Game of the year”, “Best Role-Playing Game”, and “Best Score/Music”.
