Multiversus is relaunching with a new release date, and we have all the details. The dynamic crossover fighting game is making a grand return, transitioning from its open beta phase to a full-fledged release. When Is The Multiversus Relaunch Release Date?

Following a lengthy open beta phase, developers suspended the game’s servers in June 2023 to refine it for a full launch. Nearly a year of extensive revamping based on beta feedback has culminated in the upcoming release on May 28, 2024.

MultiVersus will be available as a free-to-play title on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, featuring complete cross-play and cross-progression compatibility across platforms.

Similar in essence to Nintendo’s Super Smash Bros., MultiVersus incorporates characters spanning the WB universe. Players can engage in various modes, including 1v1 matches, 4-player free-for-all, and cooperative 2v2 battles. For those seeking a non-competitive experience, a new PvE mode is introduced, playable in single-player or co-op.
