Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III Season 1 brought five new weapons, including XRK Stalker, RAM-7, HRM-9, and more. Developers are now gearing up for the next patch update, which will also bring multiple firearm additions, with two MW3 Season 2 weapons arriving at the season launch.
Activision has confirmed via the Modern Warfare III Season 2 blog that players will get their hands on four new weapons, including a melee, after the next patch. At the same time, the base variants of two new MW3 Season 2 weapons — BP50 and RAM-9 — will be featured in the next Battle Pass as free rewards.
In the following section, check out all new MW3 Season 2 weapons that will soon be available in the game:
The Complete List Of New MW3 Season 2 Weapons
BP50 Assault Rifle
Official Description:
“A modular bullpup chambered in 5.56. Tear down the competition with a high rate of fire and exceptional accuracy for dominating at mid to long ranges.”
Unlike many other assault rifles in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, BP50 will offer higher mobility and an exceptional rate of fire. At the same time, it will boast an impressive accuracy, ensuring that players can easily hit their targets with increasing distance.
RAM-9 Submachine Gun
Official Description:
“More maneuverable and agile than its assault rifle counterpart, this bullpup SMG chambered in 9mm is lethal at close range.”
RAM-9 is not the best weapon for accuracy, further deteriorating with distance. However, its best-in-class magazine capacity, recoil control, and boast-worthy mobility allow players to dominate close-range fights effortlessly.
Soulrender Melee
Official Description:
“A ceremonial blade capable of razor-sharp cuts and deadly melee action in close-quarters combat.”
Soulrender is an upcoming sword-like weapon with excellent mobility compared to other larger melee weapons in the game. Thus, it can be a great alternative to use in Modern Warfare Zombies against the undead. Additionally, players can use their aim button while holding the fire button to enable guard stance, which, upon release, promises an instant slice.
SOA Subverter Battle Rifle
Official Description:
“Chambered in 7.62, this hard-hitting rifle dominates at mid to longer ranges thanks to a low rate of fire and predictable recoil.”
SOA Subverter boasts an exceptional rate of fire, accuracy, and movement speeds alongside best-in-class sprint-to-fire. Furthermore, the upcoming Season 2 Battle Rifle offers a manageable recoil and impressive headshot & target flinch, which makes it a great option to have during a match. Players can further optimize their ADS speed by using an appropriate attachment in the Gunsmith.
Apart from the four new MW3 Season 2 weapons, developers will add seven aftermarket parts to the game. All but one AMP attachment will be available via Weekly Challenges. JAK Burnout will be the only aftermarket part that will arrive via Battle Pass.
