Lady Nagant skillfully shoots one of Shigaraki’s arms away, which gives Deku the opening to use Blackwhip and restrict the villain’s movements momentarily. When Shigaraki starts to recover his Quirks, Deku tackles him out of the Sky Coffin to save his friends. Fans learn how Shigaraki hid his core so All For One wouldn’t be able to seize control of his mind again. Gentle puts all his strength into keeping the Sky Coffin afloat.
La Brava is able to activate the battle site’s levitation mechanism. She hacks into some Management Course students’ phones to broadcast Gentle’s valiant efforts to the public. Due to Shirakumo’s presence in him, Kurogiri saves Present Mic and Aizawa from falling to their deaths from the levitating fortress. The narrative moves to the battlefield at Gangu Villa where the heroes are almost overtaken by the infinite number of Twice clones created by Toga. When AFO realizes that he can’t control Shigaraki anymore, he attacks Hawks.
However, Shiketsu High students Inasa, Camie, and Seiji appear in time to save everyone. Using the dark clouds to his advantage, Tokoyami unleashes Dark Shadow, who proves to be really useful against AFO’s multiple quirks. Fans learn that Toga’s power can only copy the quirks of those she loves deeply, which is why she could create so many Twice clones. Ochaco, Tsuyu, and Jiro team up to find Toga’s real body and stop her rampage. Toga wonders why she can’t use Dabi and Shigaraki’s quirks even though she loves them.

Now that Shigaraki has broken free from AFO’s control, he will attack Deku with his multiple quirks. The hero will have to come up with new moves to defeat his opponent. Fans will likely see more of Kurogiri’s internal struggles as he is stuck between his duty towards the villains and the humane side of Shirakumo, who was Mic and Aizawa’s friend.
