My Hero Academia Season 7 Episode 7: What To Expect
My Hero Academia Season 7 Episode 7 will finally get into the meat and potatoes of this season- meaning the fighting finally begins in full force, no holds barred. The heroes and villains have been divided and segregated to suit the heroes’ powers and serve as a disadvantage to the villains. We’re expecting a one-sided beatdown but of course, surprises are expected.
My Hero Academia Season 7 Episode 6: Recap
MHA Season 7 Episode 6 delved into how AFO and the other villains were lured out using Aoyama and Deku as bait. The heroes alongwith Principle Nezu explain their plans to intentionally put their guard down, make wrong decisions, and use AFO’s overconfidence to lure him out and make a blunder.
We learn how Shinso and Monoma were critical to this plan. Shinso copied and used Kurogiri’s Warp quirk and Shinso had upgraded his own Brainwashing quirk to be able to manipulate Aoyama and his parents to lure out AFO. Once the heroes and villains collide, they are immediately separated into several groups and again warped to various locations en masse.
Each group consists of carefully selected heroes and villains in a way that would be advantageous to the heroes and they are warped to locations best suited for their quirks while also minimizing the damage to public property. Only Deku gets mistakenly pulled into a different group by Himiko Toga.
Shigaraki is pulled into an aerial dome which was specifically designed to serve as his burial tomb alongwith heroes who are a bad match against his abilities. We learn how the dome was planned and designed by the students of the support course with Mei Hatsume playing a critical role.
We also see Monoma back here outside the dome, in contact with Aizawa, using his quirk Erasure to keep Shigaraki in check. The dome is surrounded by electromagnetic barriers that electrocute anyone it touches.
The floor of this floating island is also divided into smaller blocks which prevent Shigaraki’s Decay from spreading to the entire landmass. The dome is connected to the ground via pipes which maintain an infinite supply of these smaller floor blocks. Some of the top pro heroes are here to deal with Shigaraki.
