Pokemon GO unveils April 2023 Community Day Pokemon

Togetic will be the Pokemon of Pokemon GO’s April 2023 Community Day, according to Niantic. The much-anticipated Pokemon GO event, where trainers can earn significant rewards, will feature the endearing Pokemon as it starts next month. Additionally, Community Day is a fantastic chance to add new Pokemon to your Pokedex and expand your records. Players will have the opportunity to encounter the Fairy/Flying-type in the wild because the following Community Day will focus on Togetic. On Saturday, April 15, the event will begin at 2 p.m. local time and will last until 5 p.m. local time.

About the event

During the event, players who need a Togepi will have a chance of discovering the baby Pokemon in 2 km eggs. These eggs will also increase the likelihood that Togepi hatching from them will be Shiny. A Togekiss with the Charged Attack Aura Sphere will be given to players who evolve a Togetic during the event. In the five hours following the event, players who are unable to participate during the designated times can find Togetic in Four-Star Raids. Successful players will witness Togetic swarming the gym for 30 minutes.

A Community Day Special Research story that is only available on Togetic and bonuses like 2x Candy when capturing Pokemon are also part of the event. When completing Timed Research tasks centred on the development of Togepi, one of the cutest baby Pokemon, players will also get up to 5 Sinnoh Stones. Similar themed stickers and rewards, such as Ultra Balls, will be available on Togetic’s Community Day once Community Day-themed Field Research tasks have been completed. This Togetic Community Day might be useful for players who bought the Jirachi Masterwork Research. Players are tasked with catching 385 Pokemon from Kanto, 385 from Johto, and 385 from Hoenn in the first phase of the research.

Conclusion

Pokemon GO players responded favourably to the news of Togetic’s Community Day, and they have already begun to discuss how to make the most of the occasion. With a 20% base catch rate, Togetic Pokemon are difficult to catch in Pokemon GO. It makes sense that players might be more interested in this event than usual.
