One Piece Chapter 1117: Spoilers
According to sources, just like the last chapter, One Piece Chapter 1117 isn’t that impressive compared to the previous few. It’s looking like the next chapter will be another small chapter with a limited number of notable events. The greatest highlight of the next chapter is looking like the clash of Zoro and Nusjuro.
As you can see in the above source, Zoro finally faces off against one of the Gorosei and it just so happens to be the one with a blade- V. Nusjuro. This is the guy who had just cut the entire cloud housing the Labophase in half and this is already being considered a Mihawk-level feat.
In One Piece Chapter 1117, these two entities clash with named attacks, and black lightning sparks are seen from their clashing Haki. This can be viewed as both of them acknowledging their strength and using Advanced Conqueror’s Haki coating on their blades.
We see a few more reactions as Vegapunk’s message continues and he begins saying something about those who have the initial D. in their names but before he can finish his sentence, the other Gorosei attack the Ancient Iron Giant robot on the island- stopping or cutting off the transmission.
We don’t know if the transmission is permanently shut down or destroyed yet but the message stops broadcasting and we’ll have to wait for the next chapter to find out what happens. Thankfully, there’s no break next week.
One Piece Chapter 1116 Recap
One Piece Chapter 1116 didn’t give us much information. Instead, it was more about the reactions of Akainu and Imu that intrigued the fanbase. Other than the reveal that the Den Den Mushi broadcasting Vegapunk’s message was inside the Ancient Iron Giant, there was nothing else of note in the present circumstance.
Both Stussy and York had figured this out and Stussy was still embroiled in her own existential crisis as a clone but Edison assured her that this dilemma of hers is one of the reasons why she’s still human. She’s also sympathetic towards Kaku in this scene and that further tells us she has human emotions because only a human would feel pity for an enemy.
Akainu seemed to know many of the things Vegapunk was talking about so he was mad that Vegapunk was about to reveal everything to the world. Near the end of the chapter, we see Imu staring at a gigantic portrait of what looks like Nefertari Lily.
The chapter ends with Vegapunk questioning why the Roger Pirates who knew everything about the Void Century just vanished without doing anything. Are they condoning the gruesome actions of the World Government or are they just too powerless to affect anything?
