One Piece Chapter 1122 leaks are out and there are big claims for the next chapter. For starters, the Gorosei problem is apparently, finally dealt with as everyone of them except Saturn is sent back to Mariejois with one attack from Emeth that used Joyboy’s Haki. Read on as we dissect these leaks and their implications.
One Piece Chapter 1122 Leaks Reveal Joyboy’s Haki Sends The Gorosei Home
According to One Piece Chapter 1122 leaks, the big move Emeth was planning to make and the one Joyboy told him to use ‘when it was the right time’ 800 years ago was actually an attack that used Joyboy’s Haki.
One Piece Chapter 1122 leaks show that this attack was apparently so powerful that it sent all of the Gorosei except Saturn back to Mariejois. This could also be because Saturn had summoned the other Gorosei with his dark magic circles whereas he himself traveled to Egghead physically. According to the source, we also see a more detailed silhouette of the original Joyboy 800 years ago.
Why Joyboy Sealing And Storing His Haki Makes Sense
We already know Haki can be infused within objects. We saw the Kuja warriors in Amazon Lily infuse their arrows with Haki. Post-timeskip, we’ve seen swordsmen infuse their swords with Armament Haki. But what’s hinted at in Wano, and all but confirmed now, is that if you’re strong enough, you can not only infuse but also seal your Haki within objects.
We saw how Kaido sensed Oden’s Haki within Enma and thus dodged that one attack from Zoro while taking on everything else. In hindsight, that already confirms the theory that Haki can be sealed within objects. What’s more, we believe that only Conqueror’s Haki can be sealed within objects- and this is what’s happening with Emeth.
Emeth, the Ancient Iron Giant Robot from 800 years ago must have been entrusted with the original Joyboy’s Haki and was allowed to use a devastating attack to deter enemies of his reincarnated self or successor in the future when the time calls for it. Emeth must have deemed Luffy and the Strawhats’ situation precarious enough to bust out this last resort move to help them escape from the Gorosei and leave Egghead Island safely.
