Chapter 1123 of the manga is set to come out on Sunday, August 18, 2024, at 8 AM PT. Since next week is the Obon Holidays in Japan, the publication of Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump will be on hold. This will result in every manga update from the magazine, including One Piece, being delayed by a week. Once the chapter becomes available, fans can read it on the Manga Plus and Viz Media websites.

What Can You Expect From One Piece Chapter 1123?
The Straw Hats successfully sailed away from Egghead Island in the last chapter of the manga. We can hope to see what condition all of them are in as they make their way to Elbaf Island. Fans might also get an update on Imu and the members of the Gorosei who went to Mariejois. The next arc will also likely be set up in the upcoming update.
One Piece Chapter 1122 Recap
The previous chapter of One Piece begins with people worrying about the upcoming flood which Vegapunk warned them about. However, the pirates all rejoice about it as they hope to find the One Piece and rule over the seas. Buggy also appears in a scene where he tells his subordinates that the world will be theirs. We then see Koby who says he will stop Luffy from becoming the Pirate King.

Devon asks Blackbeard if he should kill Caribou but Blackbeard answers that he wants to see what information he has to give. If the details prove to be useless, then he promises to kill Caribou himself. Just as Vegapunk’s recording prepares to talk about Joyboy, Warcury destroys the transmitter inside Emeth, stopping the announcement once and for all. Nasjuro is still chasing the Thousand Sunny.
In the end, Emeth asks Luffy his name as the pirate reminds him of Joyboy. He says sorry to Joyboy for failing to make him the king and unties a knot from his body. Joyboy’s Conqueror’s Haki, which was sealed within Emeth’s body, is unleashed, causing massive shockwaves. The power of the Haki pushes the Gorosei back into their human forms as they end up in Mariejois. Imu is brought down to his knees from the power of the Haki and recognizes it as Joyboy’s. A flashback showed us a conversation between Emeth and Joyboy. The Straw Hats, along with the giants, all leave Egghead Island. Saturn stands before Emeth’s massive robotic body as he finally sleeps peacefully.
